Deborah Alfa is a hair stylist and scalp specialist of over 16 years experience.

more info

Deborah has a fundamental passion for education and although she was already a qualified hair stylist, she completed a teaching degree. She then began working with young adults in Wirral schools teaching life skills and managing confidence building workshops. After developing a passion for wellbeing through her work, she went on to facilitate corporate workshops to educate company management and employees about stress management.

Her career path then changed again when Deborah unexpectedly fell in love with her current business premises and became a hair salon owner. Her experience of working with cancer patients prompted her to specialise in scalp therapy and wig personalization.

Her desire to provide specialist help and support to cancer patients was strengthened after sadly losing close family to cancer and hearing of trauma that many of her clients experienced during and after active treatment.
Deborah was awarded ‘Best Start Up Social Enterprise ‘ by Wirral Borough Council in 2017 for her concept of ‘Me Again’ CIC was officially launched in April 2018.
Deborah is delighted that her concept has been realised and that she can help women in this way. She is looking forward to developing Me Again CIC further to address the great need for such provision in her local community.
